IMPORTANT NOTE:

Katerina's father is unknown and will never be known.  Katerina's mother is Frantiska Velatova.  Frantiska married Jan Dlouhy in 1839.

Frantiska and Jan Dlouhy had 3 children - Josefa, Maria and Anna.  Jan Dlouhy died in 1849.  Katerina was born out of wedlock in 1851.

Katerina  was born on October 19, 1851 in the village of Kvetov in the Kingdom of Bohemia (Czech Republic).

Katerina came to Baltimore on April 25, 1880 aboard the "Strassburg".  She was 28 years old.

Katerina married Jan Lipa at the Old Saint Wenceslaus Church in Baltimore, Maryland on January 16, 1887.

Katerina and Jan lived on Wolfe Street ( Baltimore, Maryland ) after they were married.

Katerina and Jan had 4 children - Frank and Anna (twins), John and James (see Family Group Sheet above).

Katerina was married to Jan Lipa from 1887 to 1915 - 28 years.

Katerina and Jan lived on 1640 Barnes Street ( Baltimore, Maryland ) in the early 1900's.

Katerina died on January 10, 1933 at the age of 81 years, 2 months and 2 days

Katerina was buried at The Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland
